Hello! My name is Carla, and I’m so pleased to welcome you and your little one to The Little Thrive Tribe journey.
I’m a 39-year-old early years teacher and special needs coordinator with over 20 years of experience working with babies and young children. I hold a degree in Psychology, and throughout my career, I’ve been deeply passionate about child development, play, and supporting each child’s unique way of exploring the world.
I’m currently on maternity leave with my first baby, and becoming a parent myself has added a whole new dimension to my love of early years. It’s given me fresh insight into the magic (and challenges!) of these first months of life, and I’ve loved combining my personal and professional experiences to create these sessions and sensory resources.
I believe children learn best through connection, curiosity, and discovery — especially through nature, sensory play, and open-ended exploration. I also have a lifelong love of animals and the outdoors, which often finds its way into the activities I design.
Whether you’re here to connect, play, or learn more about supporting your baby’s early development, I hope these sessions bring joy, calm, and confidence to you and your little one.
Thank you for being part of this special time!
Warmly,
Carla Gibbs
